Inner Space Caverns

Description: Discover an amazing living cavern on this exciting guided-tour of Texas' most accessable cavern. You can choose either the classic Adventure Tour or their new Explorer's Tour, which features newly discovered trails. The Adventure Tour lasts 1 hour 15 minutes and covers an easy 3/4 mile paved trail, and the Explorer Tour lasts 1 hour 35 minutes and covers 1.2 miles. Tours depart approximately every 15-20 minutes, and tickets may be purchased at the door.

Helicopter Rides with the Chopper-Guy

Description: See Georgetown from above with a helicopter tour from the Chopper Guy. Tours range from a short flight over the airport to an extended hill country or Adventure Flight. The kids will love this one. Prices range from $40-$150. Located at the Georgetown Airport.

Georgetown Hike and Bike Trail

Description: The series of trails run through San Gabriel Park to the Blue Hole along the river for approximately four miles. At the south end of Blue Hole, the trail becomes more primitive with scenic views and a more challenging terrain, eventually leading to Chautauqua Park. The trails are planned to be extended all the way to Lake Georgetown in the near future. The hike and bike trail runs past the motel on both the north and south sides of the property. Bring your bike or walking shoes to take advantage of this local attraction.


Blue Hole Park

Description: The Blue Hole Park is a popular local destination for swimming and picknicking. The park has deep water. It was written up in the Austin American Statesman as one of the best regional swimming holes in this area. The Blue Hole Park is a very short walk from the motel property.


Lake Georgetown

Description: Lake Georgetown lies west of town out Williams Drive (FM 2338), about four miles from IH-35. It's a great place to go swimming, hiking, camping, boating, fishing, picknicking, or just sightseeing. Wildlife abounds around the lake, and there's no telling what kind of critters you will find.


Georgetown Recreation Center

Description: The Georgetown Recreation Center offers a playscape for kids and a recreation area for teen and adults. Facilities include a basketball court, weightlifting room, and a pool table. The Recreation Center also services several swimming pools around the city. A nominal daily fee is required for non-members.
